Debugging Cloth
One central debug renderer serves all current Soft Body types.

jolt_debug_enable(true);
cloth.set_debug(true);
// Or enable all managed soft bodies:
// jolt_debug_set(JOLT_DEBUG_CLOTH, true);
// Draw event with a valid 3D camera:
jolt_debug_draw();- Cyan grid and triangle edges show physical topology.
- Particle ticks show current positions.
- Red three-axis markers identify pinned particles.
set_debug(true) enables the selected soft body; JOLT_DEBUG_CLOTH enables all. Both are drawn by jolt_debug_draw(), independently of BBMOD visibility or registration. There is no separate overlay in a legacy textured draw call.
Debug snapshots and line buffers add work. Disable diagnostics when measuring normal rendering performance.

Verified operation contracts#
These contracts distinguish units, return values, errors and lifetime according to the current implementation. Check results: false, 0 and undefined can mean different things for different methods.
| Symbol / owner | Signature | Operation contract |
|---|---|---|
| JoltBBMODCloth.set_debug | JoltBBMODCloth.set_debug(enabled) | Enables diagnostic drawing, default false; returns true. Does not change physics or object lifetime. |
